A few nights ago I had just arrived at the Locks and you were sitting outside sipping a drink. As we chatted, the sky formed a breath taking sunset, it was golden, blue, deep red, silver, yellow and its beauty became the air around us as it touched everywhere with colour even our faces warmed. Not far in the distance we could see hundreds of boats of all shapes and sizes sail pass into this beautiful sky. This moment felt like everything happening at once and flowing as a tide into this beautiful picture.
I awoke very sad but with an awkward smile that you had sailed physically away from us, but not eternally.
I know somehow you will be around your girls and grandchildren for a while, helping to keep them strong day by day and I believe they have cherished every moment and forever will.
Liz, you were always the Mother in Law I wanted to have and maybe next lifetime this will come true x
You will be forever in my prayers

I always enjoyed coming to work when Liz was there. Always kind, helpful and with a gentle sense of humour that lifted the spirit of all those around her. Richard Graham.
